Wouldn't you like your site to be top of the list when someone searches on Google or Yahoo? Well, there are a few things that you can do to help it along the way. In the technical jargon this is know as search engine optimisation, or SEO for short.There are specialists out there who will, for a fee, help you do this, but there is no reason why you can't give it a go for yourself.

"OK, let's get going and grab that top spot on Google"...hold on there, it is does take a bit of work to get going and don't forget the ongoing effort to maintain your position once you've got there. It does take a lot of understanding - and a bit of trial and error as this is as much an art as a science. And finally, control what the webbots do when they crawl over your site - stop them indexing pages you don't want indexed; do let Google take a snapshot or snippet if that's not what you want - it's up to you.
